Lois M. Voss, 92 of Temperance, MI, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in Magnum Care of Monroe. Born September 4, 1925, in Temperance, MI, she was the daughter of Ernest and Lona (Barnhart) Hayward. A 1943 Graduate of the former Temperance High School, she married George W. Voss on January 28, 1943. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2015. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping, gardening, being up North in the Summer and Winter’s in Florida.
She is survived by her loving children, Carol Smith, Beverly (Thomas) Kruse, and Alan (Cindy) Voss, brothers, Norman (LuAnn) and Glenn (Margaret) Hayward; sisters, Pauline Anastasoff, Barbara Mitchell and Marlene Eberle; 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren. Lois was also preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Schwarzkoft; and 3 brothers, Don, Ernest and Richard Hayward.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Monday, January 15, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Eva Rebekah Lodge Services will be Monday at 7:00 pm.
